Radya Aggarwal is a student of Springdale Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi, who has a particular interest in how economics can be employed towards empowering the marginalized women of India, and the world beyond. This has developed in her a characteristic acumen for mathematics that she uses to also better learn the subjects of business studies and accounts. It is her sensitivity towards the challenges faced by socioeconomically challenged women that has motivated Radya to build a project like, “Say it Strong”, so as to provide the training and resources to women of all ages for them to protect themselves in street spaces.
Taking self-protection very seriously in her own life thus, Radya is a proficient karate candidate, who has had training for about four years in both sparring sessions and fitness routines. She has achieved accolades across tournaments like the Second Ni Dan (2024), First SHO Dan (2023), International Karate Federation Tournament (2024), All India Invitational Open Karate (2022), and International Karate Championship (2023). Radya also had a soft corner for arts and music, with a five years self-training in pencil sketching, with the ability to make elaborate portraits of animals and religious figures.
